Sadly OS7 phones now have an expiry date but I doubt if it will be sooner than 2 years..
I have to agree that when I see the new BB10 OS, I'm surely going to move on from OS7.

Question is: can BB10 compete with the top three at this point? People has already predicted that it wouldn't, given the scant showing of nothing more than interface tricks. It's going to be rough for RIM if they don't come up with something more later this year...
They need to assure the public they have much more up their sleeves.
i agree but if the time wanted to be taken it could be done
Well seeing how my OS7 device is supposed to be the most current, i can imagine it having support for sometime. However, by the end of this year if RIM does not impress, i will shift.
Good for you.. I don't what you expecting by the end of the year but there's going to be nothing. So shift soon!
Ok I think I am a bit lost here, lol....I did have a Curve 9330 which liked to freeze etc when I did anything more than just use the phone for text. Now I loved the phone it was just hard to check emails etc when it would restart on me. I strayed..*sigh* shame on me because now I am getting ready to activate my ancient 7250 because my samsung 4G stratosphere is driving me nuts. Yeah, I know right? This is only until I get my BB Bold 9930.
So my curve was BB06 and I was told that I could upgrade the os to BB07. Couldn't find out how to do this so I didnt worry about it and I wont be surprised if it cant be upgraded.
I am confused as to what the BB 10 is exactly...a newer OS for BB? Is it going to be a 4G phone? If BB10 is on its way and is 4G, maybe I should wait to see what they come out with before getting the Bold. If thats the case then I will be using the 7250 for a long time which was not my intent.
ive used ios for 3 and a half years. Now im using a bold 9900 and got to say im a ios fan but my bold really kicks its in every aspect except apps. But who cares after learning the bb i can awnestly say ios 4s 4 3 2 JUNK! Rim needs to learn how to market because i see now they are building serperior gadgets
Yes, BB10 is the new OS for BB. It's new from the ground up, not an incremental change to the existing BBOS. It's related to the current BB PlayBook OS, but the final product, which is announced to be released on Q1 2013, is expected to have features that the current PlayBook OS doesn't have.
At this time, there isn't a lot of detailed information about what BB10 will and won't have.
