What would you do if it happened today? What company and device(s) would you consider if you were forced to give up your BB? (I know...perish the thought.) Just wondered what the most worthy, viable alternatives would be for you, and why...knowing of course that for most of us, nothing could every fully replace our beloved Berrys.
And no, I have no intentions of making such a change...this is all hypothetical.

Reason: change title
Nokia E71: With the exception of push email it does everything
better than my Curve.
3.2mp camera, native Flash support, native PDF support, support
for many more audio formats, WiFi and GPS, video call, FM radio,
Firmware Over The Internet (FOTI), separate profiles for work
and personal, supremely better browser, IRDA, and a bunch
of stuff I can't think of at the moment.
My next phone will be the E71 or the Javelin and so far the E71
is winning that race.
Well the Javelin would still be the RIM product so no Javelin for me. I might consider the the iPhone also, with the exception of the virtual keyboard. I hate that keyboard..
Or the E71 as posted before. Or even a Palm pro device. Idk
Even though the thought of no longer having a RIM product greatly saddens me....I'd probably choose the Nokia E71. I've always been a fan of nokia phones and what the E71 can do is amazing.
E71 or iphone. Probably E71 due to hw keyboard, but would have to try it out first. Possibly nokia N series but they look even less useful than the iphone in many ways.

You should be BANNED for even suggesting such a thought. Geeeez.... :-)
LOL...I thought about that when I started it. I had actually started with the title "RIM/BB goes out of business...." but then thought better of it when I pictured thousands of CB users jumping out of skyscraper windows, etc.
