I was trying to create a new floder on my Blackberry Curve. I must have done something wrong and now my icons are all missing on my home screen. How can get them back?

While on the home screen hit the menu button and go to "Show all." You'll probably
see those icons as transparent. Just "unhide" each one using the menu button.

Did you accidently uncheck "Show all" or accidently hide them?

Maybe you're browsed into the new folder which has nothing in it... back out of it back to Home.

No mater what button I push, It won't let me "show all." However, if I recieve an email, call, or voicemail, those specific icons show up. Damn!

Pull the battery out of the phone while the phone is on. Then put it back in. See
if a reboot does anything.

actually, the menu button works when using the call option. But it won't let me start, create, or find a menu.

Yup. Nada.

I can get to my messenger, email, and browswer when I I'm on my phone icone then clicking the blackberry icon. This is F'd up.

Not sure why the Blackberry Icon won't let me do anything otherwise.

This is what I can't find: A few shortcuts, my contact list icon, phone icon, camera icon, email icon....

Did you make sure that those icons weren't moved into a different folder? Check
the other folders on the screen and see if they're in there.

I'm having trouble locating those "other folders." Especially because my Menu button only works when I'm in my phone app.

If I could only find those apps I could restore them.

Are you saying that when you press the menu button (the button with the lil BB
symbol) while on the homescreen nothing comes up? It doesn't even function but
only when in the phone app?

Yup. it's as if it's locked.

Something is wrong with either the hardware or possibly the OS.

Do you recomend taking it back to the store and have them look at it?

Either take it back, before the snowstorm, or if you have it backed up, wipe it and reload the OS. This is a weird problem.
