    Last night I was replying to message and pushed a wrong button (not sure which one) and a list of icons appeared. I clicked the icon and away it went. Question is what did I press to bring up these icons? Thanks

    You may have pressed the "sym" button to the right of the space bar or am.I thinking wrong icons

    Yes, in BBM, clicking SYM twice will bring up a screen of emoticons. You can click the one you want or press the corresponding letter to insert the emoticon into your message.
