I agree that it's slow. I just thought the "it's the worst on the net" comment was a little 'over the top'. ;-)

I'm pretty sure you would have to pay more than $10 a year. Sure they should cut down on ads but this is how websites pull in revenue. It would be more like having to pay $10 a week WITH limited ads for that to bring in decent revenue.

Adaway sounds good. I think RIM should look at making their version of a Samsung Note. I have one for reading newspapers,large bodies of text. I use my 9800/9860 for phone stuff. The Note has a big,beautiful screen and still fits in my top pocket.
