Seeing how John Chen is now BlackBerry CEO I wonder if he would be driving a car that used QNX. I mean he is a software guy so why wouldn't he. Plus QNX is reliable (QNX is used in systems where the cost of failure is very high"- QNX CEO Dan Dodge) and I don't really see him driving anything using any other operating system. I also wonder what type of vehicle he's driving? If I were CEO of BlackBerry I would have an Audi.

Also if you were driving a car using QNX which brand and model would you have?

Even if it's a test car. Who better to test than the companies CEO

Is there a car that runs on QNX, instead of it powering just the media/navigation subsystem? I thought ECUs and CANbus controllers all ran on custom chips, whereas media subsystems can run on anything from Android to Windows CE.

Yes, people mean the infotainment systems, not internals. Not that QNX couldn't do that as well.

The key is, you don't want the thing telling you that something is failing to fail, so you need the infotainment system to be mission critical.
