    I had my phone on "silent" during an exam at school, got a phone call and it rang, just like it was on "normal". Full volume, vibrate and all.
    When I got home, I tried each setting in turn, including "bedtime mode" and then called, texted, and bbm my phone from my boyfriend's and each time it responded as it would on "normal".
    I have managed to create a custom setting that is actually silent but I would like to be able to use all of my profiles. I especially like bedtime mode.
    Does anyone know how to fix this?
    I have tried a soft and a hard reset on my phone already. Neither has worked.

    Did you check the app settings within each profile?

    Yes, they all appear to be correct.
    I should mention. I have the Z10, my boyfriend has the Classic and this is happening to his phone as well. It has been since he got it.
    I have only ever had BlackBerry phones and this is the first time this has ever happened to me. This is his first BlackBerry (at my insistence that they are awesome...) and he is using this minor glitch to taunt me about them...

    Which OS are you on? I don't have those issues with my Z30.
