Should have tried Z30, then you will see what a great device BB10 is, Z10 with the 10.2 is also like getting a Brand new device! BlackBerry all the way baby! I also use S4 and IOS7, so the comparison I make is from trying all platforms longterm.

This is your personal opinion and perfectly valid in your situation. Unfortunately for Blackberry, most people disagree.

Overall, from what I have seen I am impressed with the Note 3 and it has great chances to become my next phone.

Some here think that the hub like feature is not on Android,I disagree because I have a note 3 and all I have to do is swipe the top to see my notifications and close by swiping up.

No one is saying Android is horrible. But neither is BlackBerry and the whole world cannot use one OS. That would be a sad day indeed. Google owns browsing, they own search and they own email. If you want an advertising company to own mobile as well go ahead but I will can't give over my soul without a fight

I can also access my Facebook and other things on the left side of my note 3 just like I could with the Q10.

Glad you like your Android. I have and continue to try them all. BB10 is by far the best choice for me. BB10 has security that Android has yet to match. Can you root your Android phone? If the answer is yet, then it is not secure.

No, QNX can't be jailbroken/rooted. NOT

On a more serious note, BB10 would be long rooted if it had enough market share (more developer's attention).

Yeah. I see you haven't mentioned that the latest version for the PLAYBOOK has not been rooted. Once they find out about it, they fix it. The article states you have to downgrade to an older version. And where is the rooting for BB10 phones?

What makes you think BB10 is unrootable?

Kindle Fire HDX currently has no root? Does that mean it's unrootable?

Blackberry could easily make a security oriented android experience.
As long as you can root the OS it is not secure. Not secure enough for security sensitive workplaces anyway. If you change Android so you can't root it then it's not Android anymore, and in pretty sure Google don't allow that under current T's and C's.

I do agree in principle that BlackBerry would have been better off making a BB10 UI for Android but they'd haven't have done their own deal with Google to make a secure Android fork and I'm not sure they would have agreed.

OK, show that Kindle HDX is rootable.

Otherwise, I proclaim the Android Kindle to be as secure as a BB10 device.

    Any objections?

The day blackberry goes android is the day the company will shut down. BlackBerry is nothing without its own OS. In a world saturated with android blackberry would quickly lose its identity and it's customers (the small amount that's left) would just go somewhere else.

Having recently bought a Nexus 7, I can honestly say it is a poor substitute for my PlayBook. I have basically shelved this piece of junk and gone back to working with my Z10. The nexus line is simply not worth the money.

Sony phones were Symbian then changed to Android. They are still Sony phones. What's all this BS about BlackBerry can't change OS.
