My first one was the Storm 9530 (purchased a while after my brother got his Curve 8330). I liked the old Curve except for the trackball, and well....the less said about the Storm's clickscreen, the better.

That said, a few weeks ago I got to look at some old Berries (including one of the first color units that still had the wheel on the side for navigation). Going even further back though, I remember when we started selling the 957 at Office Depot back in 1999-2000. At the time I didn't understand why anyone would want their e-mail on a little 2-way pager-sized device! My, how times change.

I never looked at it like that but your right. When I got my first curve I was part of the in crowd. Now with my Bold 9930 I'm a lone gunman in a sea of apples.
I think things will get better with 10 but not as good as it was there are to many apples and people tend to follow trends.

I remember my first BlackBerry, it was the 8800. Got it in 2008 and I loved it! Pure communication device! And just like madman said, it is a sea of Apple products out there. I can't wait to get back to BlackBerry.

I remember my first bb in 2008, an 8330. I LOVED the copy and paste functions and spell check. That's what got me hooked.

    And the LED!

LOL. I remember a 77xx for work and I eventually purchased a personal 8700. Seven BlackBerries later, I'm still satisfied with a Blackberry as my main device.

My first BB was a 8520/8530 in early 2010.
The first BB I ever played with was my mothers BB Pearl back in 2008 or 2009 (it was my sophomore year in High school, I remember that much lol) but I didn't like that phone.
Then she got the curve 8830 on Sprint & I loved it!

But I had gotten the Hero in late 09 then sold that & got the BB Curve 8530. Blackberry really went out of "style" summer of 2010. Everybody had them until the Evo & other high-end androids started coming out.

My first was the 7810 on sprint (I believe that was it) then went to the 8800. Then through all the curves until the 9000 came out and I just kept climbing.
