Hopefully I'm just being paranoid, but I went to applications to delete the Aerize Alerts I got last week. And I see in applications an app called
"aa_delete to reset". Now I know everything inside and out of this
phone and I never installed anything like this. Here are some screen shots.
It shows up in DM with no name or description?
I swear it sounds like something if I delete, will wipe the device.
Anyone else seen this? It's OS 4.5.0.110
PT -
Happened to me with the same app. Go into the module, delete it, and reboot when the prompt pops up. That's it. Had the same things happen when conducting a softreset and didn't actually reset my BB(for whatever reason). The next time you try to reset, you will be asked to delete the aa file and then you will be allowed to reboot. So, you're safe

Have no idea. I just know that i've deleted the file each time - with no issues. You might want to delete, reboot, and reinstall the app again. It has helped me.
silly crackberry addicts ... this belongs to the SOFTRESET app, which simulates a battery pull.
If for example you click on soft reset and dont actually go thru with the soft reset or hit do it later, it places this file into your modules... so you can go delete it and complete your "battery pull" at a later time.
seee .. the VENDOR of the SOFTRESET app is the same Alan Penner

it only goes if you fail to go through with the reboot the first time around, if you notice .. when you presst the reset now button .. it sez message 1 out of 5 or something like that, or if you hit it reboot later, its placed into your modules, and if you try to go to another program and then come back to do a soft reset it will telll you... ooops sorry you have to go to your modules and delete "aa_delete_to_reset" in order to reboot ... and ALAN PENNER named the module "aa_....." so that it can go on the top of your module list like aardvark in the dictionary ..hehehehehe
