Let me preface this by saying, I'm an *****.

I was messing around with my friend's blackberry, and decided to hide EVERY application. In fact, I went so far as to put the options and manage connections into a separate folder and hide THAT. Now whenever he presses the menu key... It locks the keyboard, instead of bringing up a menu.

How on earth can I fix this?

Did you try a battery pull? I'd start there.

    Is he still your friend?

    I'd start there.

Then try the battery pull, followed by the BB button plus "show all"

Have tried hard resets, doesn't bring anything back.
I hit the bb button and it locks the keyboard.
Is there anything to be done through maybe desktop manager? Reinstall OS?

Try pressing the ALT key and the back button at the same time. Continue holding
the ALT key > roll the trackball until you get to HOME > let them both go.

If you get to the home screen try pressing "O" (for Options)
{only works if Dial From Homescreen is turned off} and go to Themes,
Now press menu > and select Reset Theme Defaults
