Normally when I install an apk from snap. I can't find the apk. Does the apk even download? If not what does? Where can I find the installed files?
Normally when I download an apk from the net. I keep the apk after installing. Because I felt the app needed to be run from the apk. Is this correct? Do I need to keep the apk?
Looking for answers to these 2 questions.

Nope don't need the apk after installing, and you should be able to find the apk after downloading from snap in "downloads" folder in the device memory, if not in snap 2.0 there's an option that tells it to delete the apk after installing, check to see if that's on

2.0 seems to be deleting them even if option is set to save. At least that has been my experience.

Yup. Can't find any apk's. Seems to be deleting them immediately after installing.
What about the installed files? Where are they? Can they be located?

A post from the developer said to delete snap and reinstall and to open settings and set your download folder again

Here is another post he just made on the subject

Again, hopefully everyone reads this (and sorry for the previous confusion):

Snap 2.0 automatically deletes APKS after they are successfully installed.

If you would still like a copy of the APK, you can do-so via the "Post-Install Behavior" setting. Note: There is currently a bug that when you first run Snap, you must go into the settings and re-choose the folder of your choice (and make sure Shared Folders permission is turned on)
