    ...I have 4 email accounts i put on my phone each has a calendar. If I delete 1 I'm assuming it will also delete the calendar. The problem is , what will happen to all the appointments???
    will they get deleted or transfer to another calendar??

    The calendar items would be removed from your phone. But the items would still be associated and stored with that email account assuming it supports calendar sync and such

    Deleted the account and all calendar entries stayed on the phone. WooHoo!

    Yes. If you go into your accounts you should see that the calendar is actually set up as a separate account. So when you delete an email account you are only deleting the email.

    I ran into this when I wanted to delete and reinstall an account - i ended up with the contacts from that account as a separate 'contacts' account which didnt delete when I deleted the account.
