had to go to fedex depot and pick it up...

its still in the box from vzw...I cant open it until my daughters birthday party is over...

will post pics and a brief review..but i am changing my sig line today...

finally got new pearl activated and new unlimited plan....

havent even run the setup wizard yet...still trying to wrap up a crazy day...more info to follow...

-spare battery
-vehicle charger
-black leather sheath (? its not really a holster but it has sleepy magnet...)

en route:
-one sena black leather case (with clip)
-one seidio "skinned" pearl holster (black plastic)

I have had two very busy days...birthday parties (one day skating...one day lobster feast...)..work piling up...spouse out of town...kids off for election day...

all I want is a couple uninterupted hours with my new shiny toy... (maybe when family goes to sleep...) to set up the device, learn how to use the basics...play brickbreaker (hooked already after five minutes...)

much more information to follow in another day... will need to decompress device and life...

Here is my very first post from my new berry. Suretype isn't as hard to pick up as I thought. Its just like typing you just have to trust it. Woo hoo. New pearl baby... Finally!

got my hotmail issue resolved and have now received my very first "pushed" email...

sent a test email and the phone vibrated seconds later...(treo what treo?)

speaking of which....I have a treo 700w for sale (I'll post that in the for sale section...)

I love this thing...I fear for how much time it will suck out of my life...

I still have to :
-set up a theme
-figure out all the notification options
-add ringtones
-get some music on there
-transfer ALL of my contacts...yuck...

I have already:
-learned so much from the darn fine people on crackberry.com
-applied the screen protector I custom fit and installed without a single bubble (its tough...)
-charged my spare battery (I'm gonna need it)
-figured out my pin
-covered the berry with its new skin (which will only come off to be cleaned or if I use my fancy new sena leather case)
-Installed the bb manager 4.3 on my laptop

I think it must take weeks to really get comfortable with your first berry...

I'm looking forward to learning everything I can...and I apologize in advance for all of the stupid newbie questions I WILL be dropping on you guys...

finally went through 250 contacts...sorted out the old and useless..migrated the WHOLE LIST MANUALLY...my eyes hurt as well as my thumbs from pressing the pearl... ( i learned that in some situations the enter key will replace pressing the pearl...)
