    Why pick Blackphone over BlackBerry?

Well this guy says there are too many issues with BlackBerry OS and that it's not popular...

how does it offer better security than a BlackBerry???

well coz this guy said it does, so that's proof enough for everyone... right???

now everyone will flock to this popular, renowed, spec'ed up, glitchless, hangless, lagless OS superbed to its fullest with brilliant UI blackPhone coz the world has not seen anything like this before or anything closer to it nor will they ever.

it's such a secure and great phone at such a reasonable price that i'm afraid to buy it, heck i won't even get one if it was for free... yes, give me 200 bucks with it and i might take it but it won't go home with me... i'll sell it, if i find a buyer and put the 200 and the cash get from this and buy a BlackBerry.

I guess we'll see once it's released for public consumption. It's a little early to say either way.

Well it's running on 4.4 software which has added an ART runtime to it making it less laggy. I still wouldn't claim it to be more secure than BlackBerry.

I like his crap comment " does it provide better security then BlackBerry, well with all the outages with BlackBerry its worth going with Black phone "

Gag, what outages, we had Rogers outage for two days and my BBM worked beautifully !

It's crap and misinformation like these Geek sights starving for AD money spilling out crap !

I'm no expert but if you offer me a device with services which are built from the ground up to be secure and a secure device with an OS that was "patched" to be secure.....
I don't know about you but I kinda would prefer the first option. Just me.
Having said that, I think it's exciting to see competition for blackberry. Mr. Chen has one more reason to step up an meet the challenge.

When people spread false information, lies or just dis BB Chen must make some loud kung-fu moves back in the media against them. This is the reason why people think BB is dead. BB never retaliates, all they do is shut up and turn the other cheek. This lame attitude doesn't work. Chen shouldn't even be allowing them to use the name Blackphone.

Black is running Android. Nuff said?? Again it's supposed to be a more secure OS called PrivatOS. Android and Privacy and Security have a long history and are synonymous with that, eh??
