Well I expected more from Blackberry/Crackberry forum attendees.

DO you really think your going to raise brand awareness by NOT DOING ANYTHING ? I can turn any iPhone/Android user ive met so far into a Blackberry user. Im experenced in doing this. Its actually easy. Im actually converting people and providing sales. How about you guys ? What are you doing to help promote the brand ? NOW IS THE TIME... Im doing my part..

Causing trouble is not my cup of tea, but if I was Blackberry I would sue you for violating their copyrights with the blackberry logo on that shirt. At a time where Blackberry is trying their best to improve their situation your shirt and actions should not associated with them in any way.

If you like causing trouble, more power to you, but you could very well end up getting tased by security and then peeing in your pants.
Stop killing the vibe with logic.

I hope you're t-shirt maker has permission to use company logos?

This thing is getting funnier and funnier.

I think OP should videotape one of these trouble trips and send video to BBRY. Make sure the BB t-shirt is clearly shown.
The video should also clearly show the OP's name and address for any future "cease and desist" orders.

This is not the type of "brand awareness" that is going to help BlackBerry. Your lack of maturity does not allow you to understand this point.

Well I have no idea if the shirt maker has permission. He is the 4th listing down if you type in Blackberry T-SHirt into google.. https://www.google.com/#q=blackberry+t-shirt&safe=off

There is nothing wrong with a rapid fan base. Its sure gonna sell more products then someone just sitting around waiting for the brand to die off.

Well there is plenty of marketing depth in my approach that does sell product. In fact this thread going rather rabid and kinda a little viral is a perfect example. You do understand modern marketing right ?

Apparently better than you do. As far as de-escalating- everyone else on the thread seems calm and rational. It is you who needs the help.

I could care less about converting people and providing sales for Blackberry phones, as I don't work for Blackberry. If someone asks for my advice, then I will give them my honest opinion on phones based on their needs. A keyboard Blackberry phone works for me, but it may not work for others.

In other news: I would dime you out to Blackberry in a heart beat or take credit for it, if they would give me some official Blackberry apparel.

Hmmmm...... I donno.. The windows tablet is not horrible. Ive never played with the Windows phone. Yes it does sound scary..

BUT Blackberry is very well polished and mature technology and it would be hard to top for anyone at this stage.

If you find converting users so easy, why are you doing this?

Your antics are just not cool and if one of those customers complains about you being passively hostile mall security will escort you out. Everyone will see it as some weirdo BB nutbar's lame posturing. Your "crusade" faces a real issue with backfiring. If you are really a BB fan, I don't think this is a great way of going about it.

    Flies and honey, you know?

Everyone is entitled to do as they wish. That's what I love about Canada and the USA. Myself, I think I may just buy this shirt. Nothing wrong with making a statement. (Of course this is just my opinion and I understand why some would disagree.)
Great thread OP. I love it when people shake things up a bit. Right or wrong, that shirt makes one question and think. Sometimes it doesn't really matter how you get to that point. When the dust settles, people will remember BlackBerry? Not the guy who may offended them for one second.

Would it be protected under parody, though? Am never quite sure with all these unauthorized vendors.

Whew... This thread is hard to keep up with...

    So...

#1 I have nothing to do with this shirt. I bought a normal blackberry shirt and then thought, Hmmmm.... And sent a email to the guy and he made the shirt..

#2 why would Blackberry be unhappy with a fan or fans who REALLY like thier product and are willing to do stupid crazy sh*t to show the world they like the brand ? This is, I think, a awesome type of fan base.

Apple Stores have the highest sales per square foot of any retail space in the world. If you clearly not there to be a paying customer then you are taking up valuable space and they need to ask you to leave. There is money to be made from the store space you are occupying.

I hope you get arrested. BlackBerry would absolutely die if they knew this is what their psychotic "fans" do. You are an embarrassment to yourself and your family, and you don't even know it. All those Apple "fan boys" - and everyone else- will count this as one more reason to mock BlackBerry. Enough said. No one can help you.

OP- don't leave us hanging. Please post updates to tell us when you finally do get arrested or when some guy punches you out because you got in the face of his girlfriend. I would especially like to see the reaction of your employer (if you have one) after he sees the video and fires you for "conduct unbecoming" and just general lack of good sense. Hope you don't ever need a security clearance. And last, please update us on how this attracts women, because women ALWAYS want to meet a guy who acts like this in public. It shows such good sense and stability that any woman would find your behavior desireable- "Hey mom- look who I'm bringing home for Christmas!" OP- there are more important things than BlackBerry...
