I honestly love that dual edge screen so much, it really looks like "future" phones. It gives that "infinity pool" effect. Buuut I think that the extra screen on the sides should only be used for wallpaper spilling or something like that. Don't like it when say the Camera button is half on the front and half slipping down the side, if you get where I'm going

While I like your design, I personally would never buy a phone that has glass all the way around the sides like that unless it was the only choice I had. I much prefer durability over flashiness.

While I agree with you 100 percent that durability is of utmost importance (much the same as I would take more battery over thinner design), I don't know that the curved screen necessarily means that it would automatically be less durable. If a phone gets dropped, it's usually going to hit one of the corners first. I don't know that the curved sides affect it at all. It would be interesting to know. On the other hand, it is certainly more expensive to replace, whether it is equally durable or not.

I'm getting the Slider, regardless. I'm sure that they will make an all touch version of it as well. Not sure about the all touch Passport but the curved screen would look pretty slick on the Passport 2!!!

Okay...now we are talking! I have been holding out for a premium all touch device (currently using the Z30) to upgrade to. My Zed30 is not malfunctioning; and I haven't let it take a swim in the toilet either. I'm just ready for a high end all touch Blackberry. Give my high end specs that will carry me for 3-5 years and I'm all in for this concept!!!

The Passport version does seem pretty appealing, but either one would be good. I'm guessing that'd be a 3:4 aspect ratio on the Passport one?

Has anyone actually tried using a curved display?? I doubt most of you have. There's only one phone at the moment with it. Try It out and you'll see that it works just fine and could actually work better on bb10 than android.

Same. My contract is up in July and I'm looking at replacing my Z30 simply because I want something new. A high end all touch would be great. I see the Leap as a step backwards so won't do that, but with no other option available.......

I'll give BlackBerry a few months but if the slider isn't what I expect and no other option is available I don't know what I'll do.

I've said it many times but they need to keep product stream constant.....1 all touch ( such as Z30), 1 pkb (classic series), 1 experimental (such as passport). Then just keep upgrading them every year. The experimental could be Passport or Slider or whatever. This way a clear upgrade always available.
