    dried it on rice, with a hair dryer & alcohol, left it to dry for several days, then re-assembled it. Now when I charge it the light comes on when the battery isn't in the phone but nothing with the battery. Any chance the sim card is OK & that if I get a new blackberry &new battery with old sim card I have a shot at recovery? Even if the sim card is damaged long term, I need to just copy the files to a laptop or thumb drive. I can't stand the iphone. Please help! Thank you!
