On my Z10 (os 10.2.1) I have configured an email account I use in office as well
Now I see that if I delete one email from that account on my pc in outlook, after while I dont have that email in my phone anymore.
I have set the settings in outlook that these emails can stay in server 24 hours.
So i cannot find that email even in my server if I delete from my outlook/pc
So what can I do on my BB that whatever i do on my pc/outlook or webmail/server I still have those emails on my phone , until I delete them myself manually from my BB?
The setting of this email account on my BB are POP and not IMAP.
Any idea how to solve this? Thanks

Curious. As you deleted the message, why do you want it kept? You already decided it is not worth keeping?

As for the message deleting from a pop account, I m not sure why. Pop accounts just by the way they deliver do not do any type of server sync after delivery. Seems very odd.

This email account is checked by my colleague at work on Pc and myself at my mobile, so sometimes he reads the emails and deletes some of them but it might happen that I didn't have time to check them yet so that's why I don't want them be deleted on my device until I do this myself manually.

It seems like the smarter solution would be for your partner to ARCHIVE (move to a folder) messages he's already read, so that you can always review those emails before you delete them.

That's a better solution than trying to make email sync work in a way it was never designed to work.

I was not trying to change any form of email sync. I was just confused why a POP account is doing the functions of an IMAP account, so syncing the emails of outlook with the ones of my BB?!

The folders solution might be your only choice: make a folder in Outlook (called Read for instance) where your colleague can move the ones he already read. Or even better you can even try to use a rule in Outlook for all received emails to be copied to another folder thus keeping a backup copy where you can see all received emails.
In 10.2.1 you have the option to erase the emails from the hub or server or both. But that only applies to the mobile reading...
