please someone help!

I've just bought a Blackberry Storm 9500. I plugged in the headphones to test them out, i pulled the headphones out and my phone still thinks they are attatched. How do I change the setting? or is that a fault with the Blackberry itself?

Try plugging them back in and unplugging them a few times. If it still doesn't work, a battery pull (with the device powered on) never hurts.
