I have tried several times to bluetooth to other phones, both bbs and others. When I am in the pairing mode my berry doesn't find anything. The pantech finds my berry and then asks for the password. I'm assuming the password is the phone number. Are there any addicts, abusers, etc. that can help me please.

Generally the default numeric passcode for all bluetooth is 0000. Sorry I cant help more as iI have never used a curve, so I doent know the specific difference between your curve and my bold.

Yeah, try 0000 or 1234.

It's definitely not the phone number unless the user specifically changed it to that.

the password is whatever you make it to that phone. I always use 0. Then the other device will have to put in the same password and you are paired.
