Just found this addition to long press on a message: touch area at the top of the slide-out menu and it expands and gives extraordinary many options for the message! How did I miss this or is it a 10.2.1 feature? Just fab!

    Nope, was available since 10.0

    We call it context menu

Ok where exactly are you touching to get this menu ? For the life of me I can't figure it out.

Ah, not every one knows, I'm not alone ;-)
Long press message, and the side menu slides out. Now in this menu press the upper most top of the menu, there are 3 vertical lines.

EDIT: sorry missed your last post.

AND... Long press on the date gives you the possibility to mark previous as read! (or to delete previous, but set up phone only or you lose the mails from server, too)...

Still in the hub, if you type "T" two times on the Q, it shows you upcoming appointments froom calendar!

    Enjoy!

Actually, I did learn something new. I saw the side buttons on the menu but had never clicked on the ... at the bottom.

    Thanks !

Always been there. However what's new or shall I say returned from BBOS 5,6,7 is the "delete " from Hub or Hub and server option!

Yeah for this exact reason I don't like the context menus or even the pull down from the top menus. Users are never trained to reveal these menus! I think the UX design of the BlackBerry 10 is seriously flawed.

The delete from device vs server is almost moot as BB10 now supports active sync. All email related data is on the server and continuously (active) syncs to it.

The old OS had all your data pushed to your device and you had to be careful to either type new information either in your blackberry or your computer or you would lose data in the sync.... eventually.

Active sync works so well its kinda boring. I miss sitting in front of my computer for hours making everything come out just right...
