I'm leaning towards the Droid, but have a little over 3 months before I can upgrade with discount. Lots of time to see how things unfold.

I really like the droid but i just dont like sliders. if they came out with a droid non-slider i would be all over it. although i just got my tour about three weeks ago and its running 230 and this thing is very fast.

i wish the droid came out before my 30 days are up with my tour that way i would be able to test it out. oh well atleast i can put it up against the s2 on the 28th.....hopefully

I love my BlackBerry but I want more from it. I'm considering the Droid as well. HTC is going to come out with another that duplicates Droid at half the price. It's called HTC Droid Eris (gadget.com). Definitely looking into it.

I've heard the Motorola Droid is going to be pretty cool. Then again, Android OS doesn't really impress me...

Droid has the larger screen and OS 2.0 and a physical QWERTY keyboard.
Droid Eris is a bit smaller, much more ergonomical, but runs a hybrid type version of OS 1.5. I suggest playing with both and figuring out what one has the features you like best. Both are extremely cool devices.
