Does anyone know if there are any plans for an HSDPA pearl to be released?

I currently have an HTC windows mobile Tytn (personal) and a blackberry for work. I'm tired of the unreliability of my windows mobile device and am thinking of getting an 8110 as my personal phone. However, I'm concerned at moving from an HSDPA device to a GPRS/edge device -seems like a backward step in some ways.

Anyway, the bold is too big for me but the pearl is the perfect size. If only it was HSDPA....

I haven't seen any rumors relating to a 3G Pearl, although, I'm sure rim has something in the future as the US carriers are now switching their technologies to 3G.

I like MG1999 am waiting with anticipation of the announcement of the Bold in the Pearl formfactor.

Device needs to be Digital 3G with HSDPA, not a CDMA version as here in Australia they have turned this network off!

Has anybody heard whether this is a possibility?
