While I was in the military my friend who was serving with me showed me his new phone and everything it could do and called it an iphone killer! That phone was a BlackBerry storm!! Loved the look about it but ended up getting a 8330 curve instead and have been a fan ever since

I had a motorola flip phone and just happened to wander into a TMO store and spotted the BB8320 and instantly fell in love with the keyboard and have been upgrading and buying them ever since. My favourite became the BB9900 which I still use today.

The girl that used to braid my hair had a Curve or a Torch, don't remember which. She might have had both at one time. I was in the market for a new phone coming from the Samsung Eternity, one of their first touch screens and I was a guinea pig, lol. The touch response wasn't the best but I mainly hated having to delete text messages cuz they were full. I'm sentimental like that, lol. Anyhoo, she suggested a BlackBerry and I did like the keyboard...was the first full Qwerty keyboard I had ever seen (well, noticed). Went to AT&T and I think the contract was up for the phone I had then...I really can't remember how it used to work when I got the phone thru the carrier and before the Next plan, lol. Picked out the Bold 9000 with the track ball (ehh) and I'm pretty sure there was another version with the track pad (not the 9900) but for some reason I didn't trust the pad. Don't ask why, lol. After the first year I would regret not getting the track pad one but in retrospect I'm glad I got the "1st" Bold...then the 9900, then the Q10, then the Classic. I like chronological order ;-)

That was a nice chapter of a book, lol

**Bold 9000, Bold 9900, Q10, Classic...do u notice the pattern? :-) ...the KEYone is NEXT!**

It was my father who introduced me to Blackberry back in 2005, his company phone was a Blackberry 7290 I believe, I was pretty amazed by it at the time, it looked very "businessy" lol, and I couldn't understand why he was always on it typing away.

It was in 2007 when I got a mailer from CellularOne, now AT&T. I used Blackberries up until the Priv which I hated and changed to the S7 edge. I'm sure going to K1 once released here in US.

My first BlackBerry was the 950, given to me at my law firm in 2000. The idea of being able to reply to an e-mail at 10 p.m. from a restaurant, and have your client think you were still at your office, was mind-blowing.

My dad was issued a BlackBerry at his job in 2007. I forget the model. However, he then got a Bold 9000 as a personal device, and it was then that I was ready to leave WinMo behind lol

What I read and saw about it through the media I already liked it and especially since it also had keyboard. My sons had one and liked it even more- it looked nice, felt safe in grip of hand ( the slim phones I don’t really like) , it was reliable so it comes as a great surprise when I got one for my birthday!, Still, honestly using it.

My father bought a Bold 9000 and I had it in my draw for about 6 months before deciding to pull it out and look at what BlackBerry was all about. I then stuck with BlackBerry and have had a BB ever since! I've gone through almost all models and now finally on a BB KeyOne. I don't know how to use other phones and only now do I know how to use Android because of BB Priv

I needed a smart phone that was small in size since I am on my feet with a phone in my pants all day. I got a Q10, since it was the smallest phone available in 2013. I got into physical keyboards with the Q10, and could not get any other phones afterwards.

Back in 2006, my friend bought a blackberry 8700. It wasn't like anything I ever saw at the time. I think there were a few phone at that time that caught my eye. There were a couple of Windows phones I liked at the time.

They weren't like the blackberry. I feel in love with the trackwheel that it had and the keyboard. It didn't even have a camera at the time but I didn't care lol. It was that good of a phone.

My colleague had Blackberry 850. It was very useful in 2000 for contact chaps at conference setting (organize group meeting at hotel, check multiple arrival time chaps from different airlines, etc.etc. Although I was always criticize its toy like look compare to my pda, i was impressed by its functionality and effectiveness in communication.
