I have a Blackberry 8830 (Sprint) and have paired it sccessfully with my BMW 528i. Now, when I try to play any audio file on my BB while in the car, it plays over the speakerphone of the BB instead of the car's stereo. Is there any way I can pair it over bluetooth to play in the BMW's speakers in stereo mode?
I highly doubt you can stream music over bluetooth (99% sure). Why don't you just buy an aux cable and play it that way.
Since you have 528i, you have the newer model and aux port should be standard. Look in the center console. My 335i has it there.

To stream from my phone to the stereo, I have to hit the "mode" button until "BT-Play" shows on the display.
BT-Play will not show up unless my phone is properly connected to the stereo.
Once in a while, I will have to disable and re-enable bluetooth on my phone, so it can re-establish the connection to the stereo before "BT-Play" will show up.

not in BMW's. The BMW bluetooth kit only allows for phone connection. It would be really awesome if BMW came up with a solution to run the bberry media through idrive.
