Title speaks for itself. I hear some people do it everyday. Isnt that bad for the blackberry?

It isn't bad for the phone. It is, however, mostly pointless.

I do not reset my phone unless an app install / uninstall forces
    it to.

Pending which phone you have and how many apps you have. I really only do it when I notice my phone slowing up, which is about every 4 days or so. Its not pointless it adds memory that is trickled away during use.

I run a free app called QuickPull that simulates a battery pull once daily.

Every day. At least once. And +1 on the QuickPull app.

I've had a BB for about a month now and I've done a battery pull maybe three times since I've owned it.

I dont do it unless my phone is acting strangely; otherwise I see no need to do it unless I am in dire need of more memory.

I do it when I notice my memory drops at least 10MB.

I'm with several others I only do it if I'm having issues on the BB. However on earlier builds of the storm os I did pulls daily, bit after os 4.7.0.151 that was no longer necessary.

I can't recall ever doing an actual battery pull on my Tour. Only time I've restarted it is when an app requires it.

I also use QuickPull and have it set for once a week (Sunday night). The only other time I do a battery pull (using QuickPull) is if I install an app that requires it; soft reset usually takes care of any OS glitches (hasn't happened on my Tour, used to happen on my 8830).

Only when something seems odd with my BlackBerry, which for me has been like - what, maybe 5 times this past year?

I usually clear my cache and memory resources as I go along, so my cheepo 8330 hasn't seemed laggy, been pretty happy with it.
Do need to upgrade sometime soon though.
