I've had an 8100 Pearl, an 8320 Curve and now have a 9700 Bold. I didn't like the trackball and the lack of qwerty keyboard on the 8100 plus it felt cheap. The 8320 was a good phone but I can honestly say I like my 9700 best.

Its cool... Not nosy I'm always curious what other people are doing with BB.

Ive owned a few, but the storm 2 remains my favorite. Its a love it or hate it BB for sure. If you like surepress its fantastic. The 9700 is also a great phone, but the 9780 is obviously going to be better. The old pearls and curves were interesting when there was nothing better out. My current torch seems to suit me well aside from the fact that I never use the keyboard

Started with an 8700g on T-Mobile, one of my faves. Then moved to an 8300 Curve, then a 8310 Curve (for the GPS). Then I got the Bold 9000, probably my favorite of all time. And now I have a 9700, which has been super reliable but lacked the awesomeness of the 9000. Moved on from the 9700, back on the iPhone 4 now.

Started with an 8700...then had a love affair with the iphone for a year...bold 9000, 8900, 9700, 9780. Build quality since the 9700 has seriously sucked which is my only gripe thus far.

I'll say I'm kinda new to the BB family, but I'm loving the experience!
I started with the BB Storm 2 (9520), mid last year, and I really loved the device.
I recently traded it in, and bought the almighty 'Torch'!
The Torch is just an amazing device, I know there are other good phones out there, like the HTCs, iphones and the rest, but I won't exchange my Torch for any of those devices.
I just like the idea of the physical keyboard and touchscreen keyboard...priceless!
So for me, its been the 9520 and the 9800.

I had the 8330, Bold 9000 and went through 5 9700s. The 9000 was the best BB I have ever owned, and the best BB ever made IMO.

I had two BB's for a year each.

    8330:

Pros: the more reliable of the two. Better signal strength at all times, etc.
Cons: low res screen, camera, and felt cheezier.

    9630:

Pros: better screen, better camera, build quality felt a little better.
Cons: worse signal/signal fluctuation, trackball wasn't the most jam free thing ever.

Let's see... I've had several BlackBerrys (and non-BBs):

    7290, 8700, 8310, 8800, 8120, 9000, 8900, 9700, and now the 9800.

Out of all of them, I think I liked the keyboard on the 8700 the best. Not sure why. It just had the perfect amount of click to it. I could type lightning fast on my 8900, the 9000 was too wide and made my hands cramp when I was trying to write, and while the 9700 was good, it's keyboard buttons slow me down because they're mushier than the Torch (which I would probably rank third behind the 8700 and the 8900). Then again, I think I flat out wore out the KB on my 9700, sooooo... Lol

Here is my list and I have loved them all. Although I was very found of my 8700 at the time.

    7100
    8700
    8320
    1st generation Bold
    1st generation Storm
    Storm II
    Curve 3g

Like I said, no complaints I love BlackBerry and will stick with it as long as they make a product.

I have had 5 now. Started off with a curve 8300, then curve 8310, then Bold 9000, then Bold 9700, now Torch 9800. I switch back and forth between my 9700 and 9800 fairly often. My favorite of all would be the 9000. I wish I could have that phone but have it be able to do the things my 9800 can. Looks like RIM is working on that now. I cant wait.

Curve 8310 - loved it, hooked me on BB's, but I wanted something a little more 'robust' when it was time to upgrade, so ....
Bold 9000 - also loved it, but didn't care for the browser and wanted a bigger display, so ...
Torch 9800 - still love it. Everything you love about BB's plus bigger display, touch screen, keyboard when I want it, and OS6. But of course I'll be anxiously awaiting the next batch of goodies anyway come upgrade time.

8830 (AT&T) > 8830 WE (Verizon) > 9550 Storm 2 > 9650 Bold. Will most likely get the Bold Touch later this year when released, I can't help myself.
