Im interested to see how many people use multiple bb's(and for what reason if you like). I did a quick search but everything I found was from 09. Would like some more recent stats.

Active: Bold 9650, Bold 9700, Torch, 32gb playbook.
Previous: 8800, 8820, curve 3g, another Bold 9700.

I use two at the moment a Torch and a Bold 9000.
I kept the 9000 to use as a backup but didn't realize at the time that you cannot configure the same e-mail addresses on the BIS to deliver to both devices. I now use the Torch primarily during the week for business purposes and the 9000 has become my 'home' phone. I use Google Voice to share voice calls between the two devices.

I have a 9800, 9670, and 9300 currently active + Playbook

I usually only carry the 9800, and 9300 + playbook with me as daily drivers, the 9670 is more on weekends

Why do those of you have more than one use more than one? For example, why use the Torch for "business" and the Bold as a "home phone"? Why not just use the Torch for all of it?

my 9800 is on the Rogers Network, which gives me better 3G access in the remote area's in places I travel, my 9300 is a Bell GSM phone, cheap, and I use A LOT of minutes on it, battery life is amazing the torch can't compare, after 36 hours away from a charger I can still talk on the 9300, the Style is a Bell CDMA phone, slower data speeds, better reception when boating, and in buildings.

I use just a Torch as my primary phone. I have an iPhone 3GS as a second line / more of a 'home phone'.

I still have my 8330 as a back up, and my 7250 as a back-up back-up

I have a work issued 9650, so that's always with me.
I currently alternate between my Torch, my 9700 or my 9300, depending on the mood. My current favourite is my 9800.

Thanks for your responses. Glad to know I'm not the only one like this. I'm like deRusset where I find some carriers have better signal strength in different areas but also to keep work and personal stuff separate. We all know how embarrassing accidentally sending personal messages to someone who isn't suppose to receive them can be.

I am using a Bold, Torch, and Playbook. The Bold and Torch are on minute and data share plans. I am a heavy user for business and research. My plan has a total of 2000 minutes, and 6 GB of data per month. The Torch is my main phone, and the Bold is my second. I use the Torch to receive calls and the Bold for making calls. I required two mobile phone numbers as like at my office. My office numbers are joined with my mobile phone numbers.

For writing quick and long emails I usually use the Bold because I find the keyboard very easy to use compared to the Torch; including its pull-out keyboard. I like the Torch for its touch screen options when I have to do very quick browsing and email reading.

I use the Playbook for more serious mobile web browsing, and large amounts of email reading. I found the Playbook to be more like using a small computer than a phone which is a big plus for doing larger work tasks.

For when I am out of my office these tools give me the freedom to get around and do other things, and still be in touch with my clients and friends as if I was at my office or home. I am reachable most anywhere.
