For me and my needs and usage no comparison. I was under 20 percent by this time of day (west coast US time) and have at least 50 percent on my Passport. iPhone, in my opinion, is the most overrated mobile device made. Outside of the camera and video I was not impressed.

We can just disagree then. I'm not saying that the Passport has a bad battery. I'm saying that the iPhone 6S Plus has a battery that is equal to it and better with a smaller battery.

I'm not hear to argue your opinions on the phone but I've used both long enough to see that their batteries are comparable, with the 6S Plus beating the Passport regularly with a smaller battery in it. If you put a smaller battery in the Passport it wouldn't last. It needs its massive battery in it or it would be toast.

Passport 5/6am-11pm/12am heavy use. If I use a lot gps I may need a quick charge. 95% I'm good for 18/19 hours.

My wife has a z30 but is a very light user she gets 36-40 hours easily.

Heavy use to one person is light use to another person. They aren't universal definitions. I talk on my Passport a lot over Bluetooth and the battery is always almost dead by 6pm. If I use GPS on it forget about it, it will be dead by 3pm. Does that mean it gets poor battery life, no, but these I get 20 hours of use on my Passport with heavy use are completely meaningless because everyone's idea of what "heavy" or "light" use are different.

These are the same arguments like "Carrier X suc*s! Just because it's bad at your house doesn't mean it is at mine.
Battery life has too many variables to say one is better than the other.

I can only comment on experience and personal usage. I receive and deal with a very high volume of email, calls and messaging in running my business. The Android phones I have used (Note 3 and G4) and iPhone 6s Plus have not compared favorably to either my Classic, Z30 or Passport. The iPhone fared better than either Android.

    I believe you.
I have had a z10, q10, Classic, passport, iPhone 6, iPhone 5s, and various android devices.
Z10 was worst by far. Q10 was great but, of course, has a tiny screen. The others were all comparable, none of which was a lot better than the other.
Again, we all have different usage, coverage, apps, etc. As long as it fits our needs so be it. It's a tough question to answer for someone else.

Just changed out a new battery on my Z30. Use to last a day with juice to spare but after 2yrs, it was just barely making it to the end of day sometimes needing a little charge during the day. Now back to full health.

    I use a BlackBerry Z30. And I get about a day - that's almost 16 hours.

What I don't understand, is how are some of us able to have a battery life of 2-3 days. I remember using the BlackBerry Q10 for 10 days. And while the initial 5 days were alloted for it to settle down, the rest of the 5 days - with my Network on EDGE and data turned off, it would pull across a day. Barely.

Definitely not impressive, I can get through a day, but I'd have to watch my usage. The guys who use iPhones can get through the day and rock their devices all the time. So, yea blackberry 's battery management is bad.
