Personally I like to only have 1 page on my homescreen so I categorise them into folders. Only the most used apps gets to be on their own. Same goes for on iOS, Android, and WP8. I will only have a page on my homescreen if possible, and I use the same black wallpaper for them all. Yes, i'm pretty boring i suppose. lol.

I'm big on making sure I got big name apps up front, specifically apps that people didn't think they could have on a BlackBerry. I also like having my wallpaper be visible, so I tend to place icons around that.

I have noticed that the trend is to have either the Browser, BBM, Contacts, and/or Calendar at the top. Most photos from what I've seen have at least one of them on the top row.

Anyway, my home screen tends to be the active frame screen. I always have this one app open, and I would have more if I could pin them.


My second most used screen is actually not the first one... it's page 2. I like having it second so that I have the same number of swipes to go to the screens on the right as the left (although I only swipe once for active frames). This is what I would call my home screen. These are my most used apps, save for 5...


Those 5 actually live on what everyone is calling their home screen. See below.


I interact with these 3 so much that I feel that they are all one long home screen.

First page - Line 1: down to business; Contacts, Text Messages, BBM, Browser
Line 2: Hub (quick tap no swipe) , medical apps (Epocrates and Medscape - android) and calculator; I use these everyday as a physician
Line 3: Inspirational Materials (2 of these are "Add to Home Screen" options from the Browser - cool
Line 4: Business and Travel; Calendar, BeMaps, Voice Control - which is working nicely, and SayIt for searches.

My background matches the Dark Theme for all three OS 10 phones. It's easy on the eyes - just take a picture in the dark and set as wallpaper.

Love your Z30s. This is by far my favorite BlackBerry. Hey Kevin, Adam, Bla1ze, guys. I am waiting for the Porsche Design Z30. Any news?

Most used apps at the top.....not a fan of bottom align, but I'm excited about having a choice. should allow different color fonts and borders for icons. More customization the better.

Most used are still across the top row. Maybe once I go to a 5 inch display I'll switch and put them across the bottom.
Second screen is three Play (games) folders along with a couple of utilities and the garbage that BlackBerry won't let you delete in a CRAP folder.
Third screen is just web links/bookmarks for sites I go to daily or weekly. I have no idea why I don't use the bookmarks in the browser, I just find this easier for things like "New on Canadian Netflix"
