Well, I"m trying to purchase an app, from the crackberry store, and it gave me a barcode to scan for purchase. I went to bbm and clicked 'scan group barcode' and all it did was focus and un-focus on the barcode for like a minute and never actually accepted it... (i also did the same with add a contact).

So... how do you purchase items via barcode scan on your BB?

Did you try the option to scan a barcode to add an individual contact? Give that a try...

Yeah, open BBM and select "Invite Contact" then select "Scan Person's Barcode".

Be sure the flash is turned off on your camera.

This will scan an app from the CrackBerry store.
