A BBM group I was in recently had a discussion on how we carry our BlackBerrys; it seemed that the majority of the group carried their BlackBerry in their right pocket.
I was thinking about it (and super bored) and decided I'd like to see what kind of response would be had from a much larger group of people.

So, where do you carry your BlackBerry (or other phone)?

Disclosure: I'm a left pocket BB Carrier. I keep my keys in my right pocket, and wouldn't dare to risk scratching my BlackBerry by putting it in the same pocket as them.

The left side is the proper edict in a holster. The right side is for carrying SIG SAUER 2340 or his brother 239.

I carry my Bold 9930 in my pocket. Not a particular pocket.. either pocket works.

I held it in a holster sometimes before, but noticed it wears down the buttons on the device. They wore off the black and some of the keyboard buttons turned white due to friction from putting it in and taking it out of the holster...

So I think the pocket is the best place for you BB Phone!

in my right pocket. but most of the time in the holster on hand... i'm a trigger happy kinda guy.. need to get my Sling ready in case some peeps try to jump me in the alley.

My 9650 is in a BodyGlove rubberized case with a belt clip and is always either on the clip or in my right hand.

Here is my setup: Bold 9930 in front right pocket, wallet in right back pocket, folded up papers in left back or loose change, and keys and pens and odds and ends in left front pocket.

I carry mine around in my hand. If in wearing camo pants of some sort it may go in the side leg pocket but not often.

Since I got my Playbook a year ago, it and my Torch ride in style in a new Guess purse every 3 months or so. Actually until I got my PB I swore I would never carry a purse. But now, you know, safety first.

Seidio belt clip on right side or left front shirt pocket often, but I answered right holster. Never pants pockets for me, but a coworker carries his iPhone 4s in his right rear hip pocket all day with no case ever, broke three screens so far, still carries it the same.
