how do i post a picture from my curve to a forum

I'm looking to post a picture from my phone to a forum here on CB. Is it possible from the phone or do I have to use the computer ?

There are a couple ways to do it I believe but using photobucket seems to be the easiest. Upload your photo then copy the IMG code. Paste that in your reply here on cb and you should be good.

Wow I've been spending hours trying to find an answer to that question. I guess I just don't understand why we just can't upload from the BB?

I would imagine it's a server / bandwidth issue. If Kevin had to host each photo posted on this site, it would require many TBs of space. The cost would be astronomical. $$$$

Exactly. I usually go to Photobucket from my BB browser (can't copy IMG code in Opera Mini), copy the IMG code and paste it into a reply via Opera Mini (having both browsers open).

I use photobucket as well..its so easy

hrm im not sure that its a site problem bandwidth etc... because you can upload limited size attachments from your post. I am more under the impression that the site just isn't that far into it yet. Remember mobile web has just gotten good and the browsers don't fully support everything like regular computers so sites are adding these features...

who knows he may be working on it as we speak! haha

for my personal blog I have security in place that when I send a email to a specific email address from my email address it posts the blog with all attachments..

so truthfully anything is possible in anyway =)

That's true. I use photobucket, all though it seems to be a lot easier when I'm doing this on an actual computer and not my BB. The mobile photobucket doesn't allow me the four different link options to copy as does the regular photobucket site.

That makes sense...Although It would be a lot easier much less time consuming to do it via the BB...
