How do i get rid of the contact link's that are duplicates that are from my computer?

For instance it'll say under links for a given contact:

John Smith: Local Contacts
John Smith: Desktop-Vaio

I want to get rid of all the duplicates that say "Desktop-Vaio"

There are some 3rd party apps that claim to do this, I can't verify the accuracy of them. Or you could manually Link the duplicates but depending on how many you have it could take awhile

Only problem with unlinking them is they just appear in the main contact list again as a duplicate.

There is the built for BlackBerry -Contacts Pro &Duplicate Contacts Finder Pro. Both found in BBW. Contacts Pro works great for me.

Try this: In Contacts -> Settings -> Show Account in Contact List, select BBLink and deselect all others. Then, only your Desktop-Vaio contacts will be listed. Delete your unwanted contacts.
