I added my Itunes to my BB bold but a good number did not transfer because they are "protected". Is there a way to "unprotect" them? I mean, I paid for them, I should be able to listen to them anywhere I want. Does anybody know how to do it?

burn the protected songs to a cd, then re-import them back into itunes. they won't be protected anymore

Protected, my tukus: Apple is a walled garden. If Microsoft did all the crap that Apple does protecting artists (who in turn steal OUR bandwidth) there would be lawsuits from Bakersfield to Baghdad !

Thanks, guys. I burned a few CD's, reimported the tunes, renamed them and it worked.

Are you using MediaSync? I have a lot of protected music that was transferred over using MediaSync.
