Hi, I'm trying to back up my bb data to my computer but I have a new computer and I lost the CD software that came with my bb curve. I know that I can easily back up my photos and videos to the computer via the USB cable and blue tooth. But how do I back up my address book to the computer in case of a hard reset on my phone?

    Thanks

You should be able to download the software to your new computer from either Blackberry or your carrier. Once you have the software running you can set it up to sync and backup. Check that the options are set the way you want before you sync the first time.

If you have a memory card in your BB you want the media manager to allow you to transfer files between your PC and the memory card. If you don't have a memory card, the media manager is useless so you don't want it.

Download the right version for your situation.

I wouldn't want media manager irregardless of having a media card or not. Using Mass Storage Mode and copying files to the media card is much easier and faster.
