I'm looking at New Blackberry Passports online, many claim to have brand new Passports. Is there a way to get certain numbers off the phone and confirm with BB that it is new and still covered under warranty?

That would be with the bb Id. Blackberry would know with the id
If you buy, you can check the battery cycles using an app. There shouldn't be any on there, unless the packaging has been opened to maintain the battery � la PlayBook resellers...
