How come when a friend takes a video on his bb and emails me the video I can't open it on my bb tour?

ok, 50+ looks and no answer? I must have not given enough info. when I try to open said video it just gives me the "this attachment cannot be viewed on this device" it is the same kind of device on both ends? I know when you send it to a computer you have to convert it from 3gp? to avi. or use quicktime.
do you have to convert it on your bb? seems strange if the answer is yes.

I'd like to know this myself, so hopefully some Crackberry whizzes will stop by and enlighten us???

BIS imposes some email size restrictions. If the video clip is not working after it was sent, perhaps it was too large.

Try some small sample videos, if they work normally that likely means you have corrupted the file at the 3 Mb attachment limit.

I wonder the same thing, but others are able to open the same video on their Non - BB phones and in their email.
