    Hi,
I'm a week old nebbie and my new 8310 ATT Curve whuch has started slowing down... the hour glass is constantly going, even to type a SMS message. I've only downloaded Google Maps, have 6 photos and a few emails. All my folders are empty.

Where or how do I find out how much memory I have? and what is normal for a curve?

    Please advise.
    Thanks All!

Options -> Status -> File Free

I think any amount above 15 MB free should be sufficient.

Maybe your operating system is playing up. Have you done a battery pull (hard reset) to see if it fixes it...

I am wondering what does the Application Memory mean in Options > Memory? My phone has a 64mb and 256mb model, but I don't know how to check the difference. ;s Can someone help?

Use Options / Status to check File Free Memory.

BlackBerry - BlackBerry Curve 8520 Specifications

The BlackBerry 8520 does have 256 Mb of memory installed. The number you see under file free is what remains after the BlackBerry Device OS software, applications and data have been allocated.
