Title says it all..........

If I go to options>advanced options>Sim card, I get "SIM Card: Security Disabled" in the header bar and the ID number in the screen below.

Does this mean my BB is unlocked?

Can I just pop in a local sim card next time I go to europe?

It's with Telus, canada.

Searched, but can't seem to find an answer. Lots of stuff on how to unlock, but nothing on how to tell if it is unlocked.

Keep in mind, I'm new and just learning the BB. Only had it about a week...

in sim card type mepd under network if it says active or enabled it's locked or you can put in another carriers sim and if you can call its unlocked
