    Someone is using my number to text other people and because of that whoever these other people are text me back with nasty messages telling me to stop texting them. I have not sent any texts. This has been going on for quite a while and I believe I know who is doing this. Is there anything legally I can do about it?

    try contacting your operator call them or visit any nearest store before things get alot messier I doubt you're going to find any answer here
