    I am pretty sure mine works over wifi then I just enter the yahoo site as if i would on a pc. That way it wont be going through BIS / BES services as normal.

    Wifi, but you have to go through the browser and it will not be push. There might be some apps you can download from app world that can check the mailbox every so often.

    Gmail used to have an app. Search the forums and you may be able to find an OTA for it.

    Another options is LogicMail, which this post says works on WiFi.
