How can I get Blend working with my Mac?

I've been trying to use BB blend with my Mac but after the program has been installed, it asks me to connect my phone with the usb cable, after doing it nothing happens, the program just won't recognise it, the settings on my phone are right, i checked that, how can i solve that?

What version of OSX are you using?

Does BB Link work and connect to the phone?
That way we can more clearly determine whether it's Blend or a general connection issue (cable, phone port, software/hardware drivers, etc.

When you say the settings on your phone are right, do you mean under Storage and Access > Accessing Using USB.

If not just make sure Charge Mode Only is not toggled on. If it's on then the phone will only charge and won't let the computer read the device.
