    Last I checked, this option wasn't available standard, but there IS a free app in BlackBerry World called MeeeBirthdays that will do the trick: http://appworld.blackberry.com/webst...ntent/20353014

    It seems the facebook app can do this, surprising that the contacts app can't.

    I'm guessing one of the OS 'updates' screwed that up because it used to link automatically; all my older contacts' birthdays are (still) showing c/w reminders without any action from me. New contacts seems hit & miss; can't even pinpoint when that started...
