When I take my old 8900 out of the holster, it auto-opens a message if I have received one, how can I deactivate this? Perhaps I don't want the person to know I've checked their message but I want to make a call? As soon as I take it out of the holster it opens the message.
If you wait 15 seconds after the message comes in, it won't auto-open. If you take it out sooner than that, the OS assumes you are taking it out to read the message and helpfully opens it for you.
