Perhaps they're making a new OS that will not be so easily jailbreakable and will prevent people from loading apps onto it illegally.
Maybe it's just a clever scheme.
Now that would make sense, but from the sounds of it Apple doesnt know how to lock down their own system. They are asking the government to make iphone unlocking illegal because of terrorists and drug dealers. I dont know why Apple wouldnt just fix the security holes so the phone can't be jailbroken in the first place.
Honestly guys, there's nothing special about Blackberry security. Sure it's tighter, but it's not without it's open holes... it was by no means a fancy hack for malicious purposes, but how exactly do you think my old 8830 Loud ringtone volume fix worked? That's right, a bug/exploit in the Media Player. A few OS releases later and it was patched.
So yeah, nothing is without its holes... just saying.
