i was playing with my BB the other day and i have some rather provocative photos of my wife haha so i decided to go into the properties of that folder and set it to hidden.... well now that its gone i dont know how to access this folder again or to even unhide it if need be please help

Go to your media section, click on your apps button (left of the trackball) then click on explore and start your search.....

See, this is how all those sex tapes leak out. Ya take the pics or record the vids then you loose or forget about them.

In media player press menu and then show hidden. From there
navigate to the folder press menu and then properties and take
the check out of the hidden box.

And really, if you love your wife consider not putting that kind
of stuff on your phone just in case you lose it or it gets stolen.
