As a user of a BlackBerry phone I should not have to deal with Ads at all, and not have to pay to not see them. Their has to be some perk with buying a BlackBerry device.

    I won't pay them a penny for BBM, I bought a BlackBerry, that's enough!

I'll be interested to see what they package for a BBM subscription. I'll make my decision based on the offerings and the price point. So to answer your question - I'll wait and see.

I don't use my pin enough to care about it being personalized. And I shouldn't have ads on BBM if I'm on a BlackBerry. That's so...Google.

If BBM Video Screen Sharing becomes cross-platform, I will pay to it. With this killing feature, I can do PowerPoint presentation and video conferencing anywhere anyplace. Corporations can cut down the expense of their video conferencing by encouraging their employees to install BBM on their phones. They can participate with the discussion with their team from anywhere. Just say BBM Video Screen Sharing becomes cross-platform and charge the user $0.99 per month. This is just an example they sign people up to 300,000,000 million * 0.99 = 297,000,000 a month streaming income. 297,000,000 * 3(month) = 891,000,000 per quarter just BBM with Video Screen Sharing cross-platform income alone. Wow!!!
