Hello everyone, i'm a new user of a BB 8900. Everytime i open the BB desktop manager a lot of updates are starting to become available, do i need all of them of just the updates/upgrades for the OS? And if i don't use them will it affect the performance of the 8900?
Updates/upgrades are normally improvements/fixes. I would install them, it will keep your phone/apps current with the latest improvements. I would expect a faster smoother exp after the updates. B/U your phone before, and if your unhappy with anything afterwards you can restore it..

I would update whatever it wants. It is always good practice to have the latest available software. I would do it one at a time just to test and make sure nothing gets wonky. If you do them all at once you won't know where the problem lyes.
